Module 6 Relection

The use of a checklist will help the student stay on task with the activity. And using a stoyboard helps the student model what the student would like to do. As each step is completed, I then can assess from these two types of processes what the students needs are and if a assignment needs to be reviewed for more understanding. At this time I can modify a assignment for the student.

Module 5 rReflections

I use rubrics for every project I have the students complete; however, I haven't included them in the process of creating the rubric. In the future I will have the students have input but it will be a slow process for me. I find the kids don't have the high expectations that I like, but I think this is just from their experiences in the past. I could guide them in the direction I want.

I will use more assessments throughout the projects thought.

Letting students assess themselves, not only lets them take responsibility for their learning, it lets them have ownership for what they have done. They will look back on the project and see that they have fun, but actually learned at the same time.

We have seen that when utilized correctly, technology can offer an endless array of opportunities for learning and assessments. We have also seen that not all tech (Wiki) is great for all learning opportunities… that is a learning experience in itself.
