This module has helped me think about using standards, CFQs, or formative assessment in the following ways : using computers in more innovative and creative ways in the class room for the kids, to open their minds to other ways of thinking, not just book learning and worksheets. To encourage them to use blogs for discussions, and ongoing assessments, utilizing techniques for presentations. Using the standards for creating essential questions, unit questions and content questions. By using the ongoing assessments, monitor for the various needs of the students, where they are in the learning, are they have difficulty or is it too easy?

The vast opportunitites for the students utilize technology to stimulate the students thinking process and motivating them to learn is a great benefit of using this type of approach
ReplyDeleteThis module has opened my eyes and made me aware of all the resources out there to help me in planning my lessons. Some of the technology is too advanced for my 3rd grade students, however, making time and utilizing the computer lab more will be beneficial for my students.
